Winselerhof
According to the history books, the area of the Strijthagerbeek Valley in Landgraaf, which surrounds the 16th-century Oostwegel Collection country estate, was planted with lush vines a long time ago. This landscape defined the name of the farmhouse: where German ‘Winzer’ translates as winegrower.

Winzerhof
With the arrival of this grape-growing tradition in 2012, our house became a Winzerhof once again. Each year, our keen volunteers head into the vineyard, armed with a pair of scissors and a wheelbarrow to harvest the sweetest Mülller Thurgau grapes, under the autumn sun.
After picking, the neighbouring Fromberg Winery takes care of the vinification process using the méthode Champenoise. Over the course of 15 months, including a second fermentation in the bottle, a fresh, sparkling wine develops, making for a perfect aperitif. Producing only 1000 bottles a year, you can savour this unique Bollicine di Pirandello exclusively in our restaurants and bar.
