Your privacy is of importance to Oostwegel Collection, including our four properties: Château Neercanne, Winselerhof, Château St. Gerlach and Kruisherenhotel Maastricht. To ensure the protection of your privacy, we elaborate on our information practices online and offline. This Privacy Policy explains which data we collect, how we collect and use the data, and how we retain all data. This concerning guests, staff, and website visitors’ information. 

Personal Information refers to data that uniquely identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated or linked to an individual. 

We ask you to read this privacy policy together with any other privacy notice or information processing notice we may provide on occasion (see health related data in respect to Spa & Wellness visits), so you are fully aware of the method and reason we use your data. This policy is an addition to any other notices, not to overrule them. By accessing our website or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to our information practices as described in this policy. The Personal Data we collect 

Oostwegel Collection; Our Properties of Château Neercanne, Winselerhof, Château St. Gerlach and Kruisherenhotel Maastricht gather the following types of Personal Data in both online as offline setting, when offering you our services, products, or applying for a job with us:

• Surveillance information | CCTV images | facial references and thermal images | digital images, videos and audio collected by CCTV cameras only located on the property in public areas such as hallways, lobby, garden. 

• Guest preferences and personalized data such as interests, activities, hobbies, food & beverage choices, services and amenities advised or learned about during your stay. 

Personal information we collect when applying for a job with us:  

• Your resume, or CV, cover letter, previous or relevant work experiences or any other experiences, education, certificates and other information you provide during your application process. 

• Information retrieved from interviews you may have. 

• Details on the sort of employment you are looking for, current/wished salary, other information regarding compensation and benefits, job preferences. 

• Details on how you found the job opportunity. 

• Any sensitive or demographic information retrieved during the hiring process, such as social security numbers, gender, information about your citizenship and/or nationality, medical or health information, and/or racial or ethnic origin. 

• Reference information | information retrieved from background checks, including information provided by third parties. 

• Information related to any Job application with Oostwegel Collection in the past. 

• Information about educational and professional background form publicly available sources we believe is relevant to your application or any potential future application (social media profiles as LinkedIn). 

OC Boutique Purchases 

When only purchasing a product for our online boutique, we collect the flowing data from you: name (full), payment card information, billing address. All payment details are directly to our third-party service provider, Mollie. We keep record of all purchases. 

Collection Personal Data of children 

Our websites are not targeting children under the age of 18 years old. No child under this age is allowed to provide Personal Information on our website. We do not knowingly, nor purposely collect information from minors. If you are under the age of 18, please do not provide any personal information on our website through its interactive & communication features. The personal information includes name (full, address, telephone number, email address, or any of your active usernames. If we are aware of accidentally having collected personal Data from a minor, we will immediately delete this data. How we collect Personal and Other Data  

We collect Personal Data through various ways:

Such as Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type (Windows, Macintosh), screen resolution, operating system and name and version, manufacturer device, model, language, internet browser type and version, name of apps you are using. Purpose of data is to ensure online services.

• Supporting our electronic receipt program. When providing an email address in making a reservation, we will use that email address to send a copy of your bill.  

• Personalize our services according to your personal preferences. This to improve your experiences, from first contact moment with our reservations team till the visit at one of our properties as well as the use of our online services. 

• To fulfil order placed on our OC boutique. 

• To communicate any information about our goods and services according to your personal preferences. We use personal data to send marketing communications and promotional offers, as well as guest satisfaction, market research, and quality assurance surveys. 

• For data analysis, audits, public health and societal wellbeing security and fraud monitoring and prevention. 

• For developing new goods and services, enhancing, improving or modifying current offers. This through identifying trends, analysing the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and improving and expanding our business activities. 

• Payment data is solemnly used for invoicing purposes. 

Personal information we collect when applying for a job with us are used for:  

• Completion of the job application process, verification of your provided information, communication with you regarding the application, and answering your questions regarding the application process in order to confirm your possible eligibility for the job. We can also save your information for future vacancies up until one year when you give your permission. 

• Conducting interviews. 

• Performing background checks and references.  

• Evaluating and enhancing the recruitment process. 

Data used for marketing purposes: 

Regarding our marketing activities, we use google ads and social ads through the platforms of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and X and all Google channels, in order to promote Oostwegel Collection. 

Disclosure of Personal and Other Data 

The ultimate purpose is to provide you with a flawless service, bringing meaningful luxury to every touchpoint. To do so, we are in need of some information; however, we only share your personal data with the following parties: 

• Permanent Business Partners: We may disclose Personal Information and Other Data to a selection of our permanent business partners who deliver goods and services used to enrich your stay at Château Neercanne, Winselerhof, Château St. Gerlach and Kruisherenhotel Maastricht. By sharing this data, we are able to deliver unique and tailer-made experiences. 

• Partner affiliations: We may disclose personal Information and other data to the joined affiliations of our properties of Château Neercanne, Winselerhof, Château St. Gerlach and Kruisherenhotel Maastricht. We will only share the information as described in this privacy policy, and only for the aforementioned purposes as agreed upon in the affiliation contract in order to continue the operations of our businesses. 

• Service Providers: We may disclose Personal Information and Other Data to third-party service providers for the reasons as mentioned in this policy. These service providers conclude website hosting, data analytics, Market Research, payment processes, order fulfilment, customer service, email services, marketing, quality audit and other services.
